Privacy note

This is a short, plain-language note rather than a long policy, because right now IDA collects very little.

What we collect

Only what you type into the registration form: your name, mobile number, email address, the type of property, an approximate location, and roughly how many parking spaces it has. If you register on behalf of an organisation you may also add the property name and the periods when its parking is usually unused.

We do not ask for your exact address, and we do not ask for any payment or bank details on this website.

Why we collect it

To understand where unused parking exists in Colombo, and to contact you about IDA as the platform becomes available in your area. That is all. We do not sell these details, and we do not pass them to advertisers.

Where it goes

Submissions go directly to IDA's own server and are stored in IDA's own database. No third-party form service or advertising network sits in between. They are visible to the small team working on IDA and to nobody else.

We record what you typed into the form and the time you sent it. We do not store your IP address. Your address is briefly used to limit how often the form can be submitted from one connection, and is not written down anywhere.

How long we keep it

Until IDA launches in your area, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If IDA does not proceed, we delete the registrations.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies and does not track you across other sites. If we add analytics later, it will be a privacy-preserving, cookie-free measure of page views only.

Removing your details

Write to info@ida.lk and we will delete your registration. You do not need to give a reason.

Changes

If what we collect changes materially, this note changes with it. The registration form will always tell you what it is asking for and why.
